Changed by a girl,
mixed in with the wrong crowd,
leave my sister and I in your dust,
not even coming around.

I talked to you today,
asking you why you've changed,
you say you have not,
yet you seem a little strange.

I tell you what is happening,
and you tell me the truth,
I saw your true colors,
and now I am done with you; for good.

I call myself a loser,
just to see what you would do,
you say that I am not,
you also say if I was you wouldn't talk to me.

How rude of you to say that,
especially to me,
that just shows that you have changed,
a lot more fluently.

So when your new herd ditches you,
don't crawl back to us,
because we will have already moved on,
and you shall be right where you left us.

Don't deny that you have changed,
don't even say that your still you,
because that is all a lie,
Honestly now what happened to you?

You used to be different,
you used to be you,
but now you are one of them,
a clone of a cheerleader too.

Stop being something your not,
don't listen to bands that are not you,
go back to listening to rap,
and stop listening to screamo.

Your not the Ashley that I once knew,
you are not the Ashley I had grown to like,
you are not my old best friend Ashely,
you are just something else I do not like.

When you change your clothes in the morning,
think about changing back to you,
I may be younger but you know I am right,
you must hate that too.

Remember that remark you made?
The one about you not talking to the losers?
That must be the reason you never come over,
because I am a loser; I guess I give people a bad impression.

Author's Comments

About my old friend Ashley. My sister will obviously see why I wrote this. So to those of you who don't, I think the poem clearly states why.
